About us
We started this business so that we could share all of our historical knowledge and experience of London with anybody and everybody who shares similar interests. Whether that be purely historical or also linked to more modern, themed interests. So our range/combinations, of tours are designed to have a bit of something for everyone.
Everybody at Trace London became guides as we love sharing all of our historical knowledge. We and our team sincerely look forward to meeting you in the future and helping you to get under the skin of Old London Town.
LAWRENCE O’TOOLE
Lawrence is a qualified London tour guide. He was born in East London and is a married father of two who has been driving a London Taxi for over 24 years.
Lawrence has always been very passionate about London and all historical aspects attached to this great City. He especially enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge of all apects of our Capital.
He is a family man whose other interests include football, self defence/martial arts and sport in general.
WILL JONES
Will is a qualified London Tour Guide. He was born in North London and is a married father of three who has been driving a London Taxi for over 21 years.
Will has always been extremely interested in all aspects of history going back to his school days where he studied history and ancient history A-Level. But especially in London history, the city he was born and raised in.
He also makes regular Armistice Day visits to Ypres, in Belgium, where the British were based during the Great War.

He very quickly adapted to our likes and desires as some in our group were history buffs and a librarian. “We had a six-hour layover in London waiting for our connecting flight. At the last minute, we decided to have a tour rather than wait in the airport. Our tour guide Lawrence O’Toole was very professional, courteous, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about London. Lawrence brought us to as many landmarks and tourist places as he could within the time frame. We saw all the major popular attractions and even some lesser known attractions which were equally exciting. Lawrence went into great detail and history about each place. In the middle of the tour my cell phone died so Lawrence offered to take pictures and email them to me.
